Two Saves Tuesday
Tuesday a young woman, Caren (not her real name), came to 1201 N. Arlington in Indianapolis for an abortion. The father of both her baby and her 10 month old came with her. Another couple had also accompanied Caren.

Through God's grace Kathy Stadler and Fran Adornato were also at 1201 praying and counseling women and offering them hope and help. When Caren came out she stopped to talk with Kathy and agreed to talk to someone at the Gabriel Project about what help was possible for her, her 2 yr old and her 10 month old. While Caren spoke with Kathy, Fran spoke with Caren's friends. Caren chose life and remembered that she should have been in class. The two couples left abruptly to continue their lives at school without regretting an abortion.

Birthline Save
Barbara Coleman took a call Tuesday from Sally (not her real name), who was seeking information about abortion. Sally is staying at the Julian Center with her 15 month old baby and discussed possibilities of support with Barbara and with the Gabriel Project. She chose life and will be meeting her Gabriel Angels next week. Please keep Sally and her angels in your prayers.

Amy Update

Amy is still waiting to deliver her baby. Her physical condition caused by her car accident keeps her in constant pain, but she is being loved and cared for by two Gabriel Angels - Lynne O'Brien, a new angel from St. Rose of Lima parish in Franklin and Barb Pierse, a Coordinator from Holy Trinity in Edinburgh. In July, St. Rose of Lima will consider joining the Gabriel Project family of churches.

Please keep Amy and her angels in your prayers and consider volunteering for a role in doing some research by phone for her. She might qualify for some monetary benefits, but she is in too much pain to investigate the possibilities. If you want to help with the research, please contact Eileen at projectgabriel@comcast.net.

Lisa Update

Lisa is still struggling with her jobs while bonding with her angel, Carla Carter of Little Flower parish in Indianapolis. Please pray for her.

GLGP Needs

We still need a job for Jenny and a car for another Gabriel Mom. If you can help, contact me atprojectgabriel@comcast.net.

10th Anniversary of The Gabriel Project
The dinner celebration with 160+ people in attendance last week is a memory, but the celebration of life continues in a special way for The Gabriel Project in Indiana throughout this 10th year. Hundreds of women have been helped, hundreds of children have been spared from abortion and hundreds of volunteers and supporters have acted as the Body of Christ in this beautiful ministry.

Planned Parenthood Save
Last Friday a mother took her daughter, Jenny (not her real name), to Planned Parenthood for an abortion. Jenny is 19 years old and has a 2 year old son. She moved back to Indianapolis recently. As they pulled into the long driveway, they stopped to accept a brochure and talked with Margaret Ann Woefel, a sidewalk counselor. Then they proceeded to go into the abortion center.

Jenny called our helpline after coming out of the center and asked for assistance. She seemed very sad and told us that she had already had an abortion before moving back. She was very upset because she had been lied to and did not know how painful the abortion procedure had been for the baby she had aborted. The information shared with her by Margaret Ann made her aware of the truth and helped her decide not to abort a second time.

46% of the women coming for abortions have had previous abortions. Once they have had an abortion, they are more likely to abort again. Thank God that Margaret Ann and Denny Woefel were there to guide Jenny to the truth and to let her know that many people were waiting to help her. She is doing better this week and is very grateful for having met the Woefels.

Jenny is also looking for a job. She has transportation, but needs a job. Let us know if you can help her by contacting projectgabriel@comcast.net

St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Wooster, Ohio
Mary Dugan Wood and Tom Wood, Coordinators and Fr. Steve Moran, pastor of St. Mary Church in Wooster welcomed over 100 volunteers to their new project! Their first training session will be next Saturday, May 16, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM at the Parish Hall. If you have questions or want to join the training, please contact Tom Wood at twood@wooster.edu or call Mary Dugan Wood at 330-263-1577.

Other churches have already shown an interest in the project and a pregnant, single Mom with four children has already called the helpline after seeing a moving sign of life on a vehicle in Cleveland.

Lisa Update
Lisa and her baby are doing well. She called to say she is sending a photo of her baby so we can all see how beautiful she is. Lisa is working two part-time jobs and keeping a positive outlook.

GLGP Needs

We need a job for Jenny and a car for another Gabriel Mom. If you can help, contact Eileen atprojectgabriel@comcast.net.

Please continue to pray for all our Gabriel Moms, especially Jenny, Lisa and Carol from Seymour; all our Angels and supporters and the new parish in Ohio and a parish in Iowa that is discerning participation in the project. Next week, we'll announce a way to enjoy delicious pizza while promoting the Culture of Life.
