In 2010, the need for a Pregnancy Resource Center that would offer peer-counseling, pregnancy tests and ultrasounds was recognized.

Great Lakes Gabriel Project asked for donors to find and provide an office near Planned Parenthood’s abortion center where we could operate a center where women could have ultrasound services.

That office is now located in the Polaris Building at 86th and Moeller, 5455 W. 86th St., Suite 121, Indianapolis, IN.

Everyone who enters our suite finds a homey, but professional look to our office. There is a table and a desk, which can be used to read and sign documents. When they are called into the second room, the Gabriel Moms will usually find two nurses and a sonographer along with a 37" TV to view the ultrasound images.

One Gabriel Mom recently said that she was surprised and relieved when no one lectured her about her lifestyle when she was at 1st Choice. She said she found joy in all the personnel and left with a feeling of hope for her future. One of our churches has been helping her ever since that day when she came to 1st Choice.
